New Kia K4 for Sale & Lease in North Austin, TX
Take a Look at the Upcoming Kia K4
As a brand-new model to the Kia lineup, the Kia K4 will be replacing the Forte model and, as such, offer a bold new design, new driving aids, and a massive 30-inch digital screen. When it's released in the back half of 2024, the new Kia K4 will surely delight many, so let's get to know a little more about it.
Performance
Although the K4 is a new model to the lineup, Kia has decided to install it with the same powertrain as the outgoing Forte model. That's why all Kia K4 models will feature a standard 147-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with front-wheel drive and a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). Although, the K4 will have a second engine option - a 190-hp turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder. This second engine is only available on the GT-Line Turbo trim, and it will be mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Technology
The new Kia K4 is installed with an impressive list of technology designed to enhance driver convenience. For example, a massive 30-inch display is used for the digital gauge and infotainment screen. The main infotainment system controls navigation, radio, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. Meanwhile, a third five-inch display below the infotainment center provides access to climate controls.
Design
The 2025 Kia K4 boasts a sleek and modern design that resembles the model's older sibling, the K5. The fastback styling offers a dynamic and sporty appearance, as does the model's vertical headlamps & taillights. The Kia K4's pronounced edges and hidden rear door handles also add to the sleek appearance.
As the largest compact sedan in its class, the K4 offers 185.4 inches of length and a width of 72.8 inches. This much space also gives the K4 ample cabin room with 38 inches of legroom and 37.3 inches of headroom. Plus, there's plenty of space as the truck space is 14.6 cubic feet.
While spacious, the cabin has a simple design, complete with a large infotainment display with physical control buttons. The front of the cabin also offers two bucket seats to increase comfort.

Safety
As the Kia Forte's replacement, the K4 will be loaded with even more safety features than its predecessor. There will be adaptive cruise control and speed limit recognition as standard. While features such as front cross-traffic collision detection and a 360-degree parking camera are optional. There's also a package called Highway Driving Assist 2, which will add lane-centering assistance and require little driver input when on the highway.
